Volunteers are an essential part of LifeTown’s activities and key to its mission of integrating people with unique abilities and the larger community. A few hours of your time can make a child smile, ensure a teen gets to play sports, help a young adult master job-skills training and provide much-needed respite opportunities for parents of children with special needs.
There are volunteer opportunities throughout LifeTown for individuals and organized groups.
Volunteers are needed to help staff the LifeTown Shoppes, a simulated city which allows students to practice core skills and practice running daily errands. The Shoppes – which include a grocery store, pet shop, bank, nail salon, and many more – are staffed by volunteers like you, who play a pivotal role in this one-of-a-kind educational experience.

In addition, volunteers are needed throughout the week for a variety of LifeTown programs, including sports programs, arts and crafts workshops, Torah Circle, and more.
Background checks are required.
